Moses Isaac is a Pakistani tattoo artist, fabricator, and drummer living and working in Oakland, CA since 2010. Informed by the punk and skate subcultures that he grew up with as an immigrant youth in Fremont, CA, Isaac’s career was cultivated in the Bay Area starting with his involvement in the local music scene as a drummer and then as a tattoo artist studying under Vincenzo Sibila.
Starting as a car mechanic and working his way through manufacturing work, Isaac currently works as a metal fabricator focusing on domestic architectural builds, as well as decorative metalwork. Both his tattoo and fabrication practices stem from an early interest of working with his hands and observing the creative communities he would one day be a contributor to. Through this appreciation, Isaac approaches his work with genuine enthusiasm, curiosity, and high attention to detail, making sure to provide honesty, patience, and kindness to his clients in the process. This ethos allows Isaac to tell his story through his work and stay committed to sharing that with all communities.
